New Hope Overlook Campground - Jordan Lake, NC
For the backpack/tent camper looking for a more traditional camping experience the New Hope Overlook Campground is the campground for you. Located on the South Eastern area of Lake Jordan, New Hope Campground features 124 hike-in tent only campsites. The campsites can be either reached by a 100 yard to half mile hike from the parking lot or from the water at the nearby boat ramp. All campsites include a grill, picnic table and lantern post. Water for drinking and mulch toilets are located near the campground.
Reservations are recommended. Campsite reservations must be made 48 hours prior to your stay and there is a 14 day maximum within a 30 day period. Once the 14 day limit is reached campers must vacate the park for 16 nights before returning.
